Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on Iran to stop supplying Russia with lethal drones. Iran must stop supporting the ‘dark side of history’, he said.
Zelensky said in a video address to Iran on Wednesday, why are you interested in being an ally of Russian terrorists? What is the benefit of Iran in such cruel killings? Your weapons are in the hands of Russia. These weapons terrorize Ukraine every night.
Russia started military operations in Ukraine on February 24 last year. There are allegations that Iran is supplying Shahed-136 drones to Russia in the war. With the help of these deadly drones, Moscow is carrying out massive attacks on the cities and infrastructure of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has accused that Russia is terrorizing Ukrainians.
He made this complaint on Thursday in the context of Ukraine’s military announcing that it shot down 36 Iranian-made drones deployed by Moscow forces.
Zelensky said on social media that the enemy continued to terrorize Ukraine by operating 36 drones. But none of these could reach the target.
He said, I am thankful to the Air Defense Force for the hundred percent results.
