New Delhi (Jerusalem Terror Attack): Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi linked the terrorist attack in Israel. He tweeted that India strongly condemns the terrorist attack on Israeli Jerusalem on Friday night. At the same time, he also conveyed his condolences to the victims’ families. In fact, there was a shooting near a place of worship in Jerusalem last night which left seven people dead and three people injured.

Israeli Ambassador to India Nour Gillon has expressed gratitude for the support received from India for the terrorist attack. The attack took place near a place of worship on Neve Yaakov Street at around 8.15pm local time, according to police.

Jerusalem police confirm the terror attack
In a statement, the police confirmed that police personnel who arrived at the scene killed the unidentified shooter. Jerusalem police released a preliminary report. According to reports, the incident is being treated as a suspected terror attack. In this case, 7 people were killed and 3 were injured. Police identified the shooter as a 21-year-old male from East Jerusalem.
The worst terrorist attack in recent years – Chief of Police Yaakov Shabtai
Police chief Yaakov Shabtai described the incident as one of the worst terrorist attacks in years. Israel’s emergency rescue service Magen David Adom said five victims of the shooting were pronounced dead at the scene. While five people, men and women, were declared dead on the way to the hospital, while the other injured victims were still being treated.
