Actor Shakib Khan has appeared at Gulshan police station in the capital to file a case against the fake producer.
He went to Gulshan police station at midnight on Saturday (March 18).
Film producer Rahmat Ullah accused Dhakai movie superstar Shakib Khan of breach of contract and molestation.
Last Wednesday (March 15) afternoon, he appeared at the FDC and made a written complaint to the Bangladesh Film Producers Association, Directors Association, Artists Association and Cameramen Association.
After the written complaint, Shakib Khan sat in a meeting with the producer at a restaurant in the capital on Thursday. Film producer Khorshed Alam confirmed that Khusru was present there. But now things have taken a different turn. Rehmat Ullah, who claims to be the producer of the movie ‘Operation Agneepath’, is actually not the producer of that movie. And so the producer claims that the FDC’s complaints to various associations are fraudulent.
According to the sources of Producers and Distributors Association, on March 7, 2016, permission was given for the production of the movie ‘Operation Agneepath’ from the Producers and Distributors Association. Md Jane Alam is the producer of this movie in the name of Vertex Media. Rehmat Ullah’s name as a producer is not mentioned anywhere.
It is known that the production company Vertex Media is the real owner of the movie ‘Operation Agneepath’. Majority of the investment of the movie has been made from this institution. The company also talked about the contract and schedule with Shakib.
According to sources, Rahmat Ullah, who claimed to be a producer, was the arranger of Australia’s shooting! He tried to implicate Shakib in various scams after getting a job opportunity in Australia. His intention was to embezzle money from Shakib by pretending to be a producer!
Meanwhile, Shakib Khan is very angry with Rahmat Ullah’s baseless accusations. He is taking legal action against the person claiming this producer.
In this context, it was informed on behalf of Shakib that legal action is being taken so that this fraud named producer cannot leave the country until the false accusation is resolved.
