Saudi Arabia has announced the construction of 3,000 temporary houses for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Millions of buildings collapsed in the two countries due to the earthquake. So far the death toll has reached 44,000. More than 100,000 people were injured.
TRT World reported that Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabiyah, the head of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, spoke about this assistance in the situation of the two countries. He said that inquiries are being made for the construction of 3,000 temporary houses.
Al Rabiyah said that the central government has already distributed hundreds of thousands of tents to shelter victims of the earthquake in the two countries.
The head of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center said, “We will help the people affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey in the next few months.” It is a terrible tragedy, with a huge amount of damage.
