Resident Evil: Death Island CG Movie Premieres This Summer

Sony Pictures Entertainment is forging ahead with its CG-animated franchise resident Evil Starting with the movie series Resident Evil: Degeneration Moving through 2008 as well Resident Evil: Damn In 2012 and Resident Evil: Vendetta In 2017. Now that the fourth entry is in the works, here’s a teaser trailer to prepare fans for the imminent arrival. Resident Evil: Death Island.

Familiar characters are back in action for this summer-set film, directed by Eiichiro Hazumi (Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness) and written by Makoto Fukami (Psycho-pass the movie). Check out the teaser below to see what happens in San Francisco.

DSO Agent Leon S. Kennedy Dr. Antonio is on a mission to rescue Taylor from his kidnappers when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, BSAA agent Chris Redfield investigates a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection remains undiagnosed. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all recently visited Alcatraz Island. Following that clue, Chris and the gang head to the island, where a new terror awaits them.
