- 1 liter of full cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup of mango puree
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 5-6 threads of saffron
- 6-7 pistachios (chopped)
- 4-5 almonds (chopped)
- Boil milk until thickened. It must be reduced until it is half the volume. It will take about an hour.
- Add sugar to the condensed milk and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add chopped dry fruits like pistachios and almonds.
- Add cardamom and turmeric powder, turn off the heat and let it cool. For this mix in mango puree.
- Pour this mixture into a bowl and keep it in the fridge for some time. Once it has reached the desired texture, the aam rabdi is ready.
