1 min read

In 2016, Bangladesh lost the ODI series against England by 2-1. Since then, the Tigers have been unstoppable at home. England ended the journey of Bangladesh after almost 6 years. Bangladesh lost the series with one match remaining in the three-match series. Jason Roy is the hero of England’s series win. He played a stormy innings of 132 runs off 124 balls.

In the press conference after the match, Jason said about his century, ‘I did not make the mistakes of the first match in this match. It feels good to run today. You will feel great when you score a hundred. Especially my pairing with Butler has worked well. He has helped me tremendously.’

Roy’s comment on Bangladesh condition, ‘I have seen runs in India too. So I was hopeful to do well here too. But the task was not very easy. Because to do well in such conditions you have to be particularly skilled. It cannot be done quickly. I am very happy to run here.’
