This year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to be played at the end of this month. Where three cricketers will play from Bangladesh. Along with Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan and Liton Das are named in this year’s event. While Mustafiz’s game was assured from the beginning, there is still doubt about the Shakib-Litton game.
Shakib-Liton has already asked for no-objection letter to play in IPL. This was confirmed by Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Yunus. However, he said, no decision has been taken yet to give them leave.
The Tigers have a full series at home against the Irish. Test matches of this series will continue even during IPL. However, Shakib-Litton have already sought a No Objection Letter (NOC) for the entire IPL.
Meanwhile, Liton opened his mouth about this at the press conference after the second match of the ODI series against the Irish in Sylhet. According to him, they have applied, but they have not received any decision yet.
Asked since when did he ask for NOC, Liton said, ‘Decision has not been made yet. You will know. You will know first.’
It is known that all three cricketers who got a chance in IPL will be given no objection letter for IPL. There is no problem with Mustafizur Rahman not playing Tests. Apart from this, either of Shakib and Liton can be given leave from Tests.
