Imran Khan not being heard: Court

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan is not being heard in the Toshakhana corruption case. This information was given by Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal on Saturday.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal said the PTI chairman’s presence outside the Islamabad Judicial Complex will be considered as attendance. At the same time he has been instructed to leave the court premises.’

He further said that such a situation has arisen that there is no condition to hear the Toshakhana corruption case. After the appearance they should leave the court premises. But they don’t need baton charges or tear gas to disperse them. There is no further hearing today.’

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan complained that he was not allowed to enter the court. He alleged in an audio message that he was detained outside the court premises for 15 minutes.

In an audio message published in the media, Imran Khan said, ‘I have been waiting outside the judicial court for 15 minutes and trying to enter. But tear gas is being fired at us and checkpoints have been set up. I want to reach the court. But I am not allowed to enter.’
