After the huge success of ‘Pathan’, director Siddharth Anand is back in the field. He is working with Hrithik Roshan in the next film ‘Fighter’. While shooting for the fourth leg of this action-packed film, Siddharth felt that Hrithik should come in as director very soon.
‘Fighter’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone. The director said that 25 percent of the film has been completed. Hrithik plays a character who wants to be the best air force in India. His father is played by singer Talat Aziz.

Siddharth was initially an assistant director to Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father. Later he came to direct himself. Earlier, Siddharth worked with Hrithik in two films like ‘Bang Bang’ (2014) and ‘War’ (2019). According to him, Hrithik has a director inside him. In Siddharth’s words, “Hrithik is a perfect Hindi film hero. Not only in his own character, he adds many levels, but also encourages those who act with him. As a result, all the characters are seen brightly in the film. Directorship is strong in him. He himself does not know that. I asked him to direct the film very soon.”
Before the release of ‘Pathan’, Siddharth was also vocal about the boycott trend by a large section of the Hindi film industry. In his words, “I lost confidence in my film. But ‘Pathan’ answered all that.” So Siddharth is optimistic about ‘Fighter’ this time.
