Tawheed Hridoy played brilliantly for the U-19 team. His bat laughed at the U-19 World Cup. This is the fifty-over World Cup of Bangladesh’s big dream in India. Hriday made his debut against Ireland with that World Cup plan.
He entered the team in place of Mahmudullah and batted well. He played a sparkling innings of 92 runs off 85 balls in the debut match. That innings of eight fours and two sixes was also man of the match.
After that, he came to the press conference as a representative of the party and made a mistake with the name in response to the question. It is called and written ‘Tawhid or Tawhid heart’. But he mentioned his name as ‘Tawheed Hriday’.
Hriday said, ‘My real name is Tawheed Hriday, many say Toheed or Tawheed Hriday. I have said it in many places before. The word Tawheed has meaning. It’s better to be called by that name.’
