Former Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin (75) has been arrested on charges of corruption.
This information was found in the report of Qatar-based media Aljazeera.
According to the report on the country’s Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Muhyuddin was arrested after testifying for several hours at the MACC headquarters on several charges including corruption. He will be produced in court on Friday (March 10).
Meanwhile, Muhyuddin denied all the allegations against him and said that he was a victim of political revenge.
Earlier, several other politicians in the country were questioned and two were charged on the same charges.
