Qatar’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi had a courtesy call on Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid on the sidelines of the meeting of ‘Qatar Economic Forum-2023’ on May 23.
During this, they discussed in detail various issues related to mutual interest, especially in the field of mutual cooperation in the energy sector.
Also, Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Saad Bin Sherida Al Kaabi paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on this day. There was a productive discussion between the two countries on increasing energy cooperation.
The Minister of State for Power said that the attitude of the Qatari government is positive regarding the import of one to two million tons of LNG per year in addition to the existing contract from Qatar with the aim of uninterrupted gas supply to the industrial sector.
