Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. said Friday that it is closing an additional 87 of its flagship stores and the entire Hormone chain of drugstores, as the retailer struggles to secure financing to fund its operations.
The latest closings are in addition to a plan announced in August to close 150 underperforming Bed Bath & Beyond locations, a spokeswoman said. The company said on Friday that it is also closing five of its Buy Buy Baby stores. As of February 2022, the company had around 50 hormone stores.
