Dhaka: The fire that broke out on the seventh floor of a building in Shahjadpur area under Gulshan police station of the capital has not yet been put out. Nine units are trying to douse the fire.

Four more units were dispatched to the scene. Four people, including a woman, have been rescued alive from that building so far.

Fire Service Headquarters media officer Shajahan Shikder confirmed this information on Sunday (February 19) night.

Meanwhile, Gulshan Police Station Inspector (Operation) Aminul Islam said at around 9:30 pm that fire is still visible on the upper floor of the building.
